All Our Yesterdays
A lot of back and forth through the years, but the story keeps moving.
A lot of back and forth through the years, but the story keeps moving.
Another good selection of short stories.
Bizarre story on a far away atoll.
Batavia’s Graveyard: The True Story of the Mad Heretic Who Led History’s Bloodiest Mutiny
Finally. A Reacher novel not immersed in a acronym agency. Ending is flat, but keeps a brisk pace.
Good for a plane or the beach. Dull and deflating ending.
Some ok parts, but not the greatest.
The Dark Horse: A Walt Longmire Mystery (Walt Longmire Mysteries)
A rambling story that manages to stay interesting and lively throughout.
I was getting this error while trying to deploy an excel-add-in through clickonce.
URLDownloadToCacheFile failed with HRESULT ‘-2146697210’
Error: An error occurred trying to download ‘http://###/ExcelAddIn.vsto’.
Simple fix – add .vsto –> application/x-ms-vsto to the MIME type in IIS.
Diverse and interesting set of short stories.
Our Story Begins: New and Selected Stories (Vintage Contemporaries)
Not bad, but the end is a bit ambiguous.
JCO sure has a way with words.
Interesting story and well written.
Swimming With Crocodiles: A True Story of Adventure and Survival
The first of the Jesse Stone series. Sure will miss RBP.
An early Spencer that doesn’t disappoint.
If you are looking to spend several weeks with a book, this might be the ticket. Leaves no stone unturned.
The Wilderness Warrior: Theodore Roosevelt and the Crusade for America
Seems to have been written more in the attempt to get a movie advance rather than prop up the tired super agent genre. Better than watching the Pro Bowl, but not by much.
Alright for an evening with nothing else to read.
As good as it was when I first read it thirty five years ago. A book that made me love reading.
Ok, but really pushes the willful suspension of disbelief.
