Give Me Tomorrow: The Korean War’s Greatest Untold Story–The Epic Stand of the Marines of George Company
Some interesting first person accounts.
Some interesting first person accounts.
Digging into my Scarborough library book sale pile. This is an ok series for when you want to put your feet up.
These books have such an interesting feeling that it is easy to get lost in them, which is a good thing.
Watchers of Time: An Inspector Ian Rutledge Novel (Inspector Ian Rutledge Mystery)
Economic history is a never-ending series of episodes based on falsehoods and lies, not truths. It represents the path to big money. The object is to recognize the trend whose premise is false, ride that trend and step off before it is discredited.
Another good one in the series.
A pleasant surprise after pulling off the shelf at random.
A Pale Horse: A Novel of Suspense (Inspector Ian Rutledge Mysteries)
An interesting book.
SSMS was crashing for no apparent reason. Tried re-installing, but that did not resolve the issue.
Ended up re-naming the existing windows.prf file which seems to have fixed the issue.
C:\Documents and Settings\
A very strange book from a difficult time.
Written by someone who was there. Maps are a bit hard to follow, but the book covers all the bases.
A Time for Trumpets: The Untold Story of the Battle of the Bulge
Sanford keeps em rolling
One of the better efforts
Gift horse saying might apply.
Passes the time.
Pulled it off the shelf at random and quite a pleasant surprise.
This series is getting a bit thin
Moves along and keeps your interest.
A different take on an awful slog – incredible number of maps – would seem to be a great reference if you plan to visit the battlefield.
Not that interesting, but better than watching paint dry.
